Meet the team

Tom has been working at Dolphin Lifts since 2007 and has built up a wide-ranging knowledge about the industry through working for many years alongside his father Steve Wakefield who started the company back in 1996 and has since retired. Tom enjoys getting outdoors and spending time with his young family & chickens. Tom also has a MSc in Business from University of Bristol.

Nick has been working at Dolphin Lifts since 2013 and has taken over the role of managing the office, running the website and planning the engineer’s workload. Nick enjoys jogging, rugby, music and films and has a first-class degree in Film & Media Studies.

Stacy has been working at Dolphin Lifts since 2011 and enjoys keeping a tight rein on the business purse strings. Stacy enjoys horse riding and volunteers at a local stable when she finds the time as she is also a very busy mother.

Jeremy is the newest member of the team having started in 2016, however he has been working in the industry for a number of years. If you request a quotation from us it is very likely that Jeremy will be the first person to visit you. Jeremy enjoys gardening, sailing & golf but most of all country walks with the dog.

Simon has been working at Dolphin Lifts since 2002 so is therefore the longest standing member of staff. Simon has a wealth of knowledge regarding our product range and relishes learning about new products and product improvements. Simon enjoys being active with his young family and getting out on his bicycle.

Adam is our newest member of staff, joining us in 2023 as a service and installation engineer. His previous background was working as a carer so he has lots of experience working with elderly and vulnerable people. Adam has been working hard to build up his knowledge of all the equipment we service and install, and his calm and friendly manner has made him a valued member of the team. In his spare time Adam enjoys watching rugby and travelling.
