Dolphin Lifts team proud to help with Christmas lights switch on

Thousands turned out for the switch-on event

The Dolphin Lifts team were proud to be a part of Portishead’s Christmas lights switch-on ceremony this week. Directors Tom and Nick Wakefield were invited onto the stage by event host and BBC Points West presenter Jemma Cooper during the packed out ceremony on Monday, November 26. Nick told the crowd of thousands in Portishead High Street that he and Tom were delighted to sponsor the annual festive display, which is widely regarded as one of the best in the West Country.

Once the lights were officially switched on the crowds were treated to medley of Christmas hits and a fantastic fireworks display overhead. Dolphin Lifts is one of the main sponsors of the event, and the company’s name and logo appears on a billboard on the busy Wyndham Way approach to the High Street display.
