Dolphin Lifts now working with Occupational Therapy expert

Dolphin Lifts has begun working with a Weston-super-Mare-based Occupational Therapy specialist. Stairlift users visiting Gooding Disability Services in the town are now being referred to Dolphin Lifts for all their lift installation and servicing needs.

The Dolphin Lifts team has already carried out several services and repairs on behalf of Gooding Disability Services, which is headed up by OT Sarah Gooding. Sarah, who is a member of the Health and Care Professions Council, specialises in restoring and promoting the health and well being of people of all ages with a range of needs by helping them gain maximum independence, both at home and out and about. As a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapy, Sarah is qualified to help and advise clients with complex conditions, including the elderly, stoke and Parkinson’s Disease sufferers and those who have been involved in accidents.

Among the range of mobility aids Sarah is able to demonstrate and recommend are walking aids, mobility scooters, toileting aids, ramps and grab rails. Anyone experiencing issues with their existing stairlift, and those thinking about having a stairlift or homelift installed are being signposted towards the Dolphin Lifts team, who have so far offered assistance to dozens of stairlift users across the Weston-super-Mare area.
